Interleaf ADL (ASCII Diagramming Language) Interface enablesbidirectional conversion of illustrations created with Series 5 to theInterleaf WPS (Workstation Publishing System), TPS (Technical PublishingSystem), and MLPS (Multilingual Publishing System) pagination systems.Illustrations (raster, vector, or composite) formatted using thisinterface can be directly merged into documents prepared on the Interleafsystem.This interface transfers both illustration graphics and annotation textwith all graphic attributes (including line weights and broken-linepatterns) and all text attributes (including font style, size, andjustification) in a format designed to be accepted by the Interleafsystem. Illustrations can be converted in an interactive mode, onedrawing at a time, or in a batch mode for conversion of entireillustration directories. Converted files are written to disk, accessibleon the LAN by the Interleaf system.
